Hunter, the founder of Pine Knot Wood Design, is a skilled artisan with a deep passion for woodworking and design. Growing up in Big Bear Lake, CA, Hunter was immersed in the world of small business from an early age. Both parents owned and operated their own businesses on Pine Knot Avenue for over 30 years, instilling in Hunter a strong work ethic, a dedication to craftsmanship, and an appreciation for the hard work required to build something meaningful.

Hunter’s mother, Joyce, was an interior designer who ran her own design and home goods store. Her keen eye for aesthetics and commitment to quality became a lasting influence, shaping Hunter’s approach to woodworking. Following her passing in 2020, Hunter sought a way to honor her legacy, combining a love for design and a deep connection to nature to create something truly special—Pine Knot Wood Design.

Specializing in artisan home décor, Hunter handcrafts unique pieces that blend natural elements with refined craftsmanship. From charcuterie and cutting boards to furniture, artwork, bar décor, and centerpieces, each creation reflects a commitment to quality, functionality, and timeless beauty.
