About Pine Knot Wood Design
Pine Knot Wood Design was born from a love of craftsmanship, meaningful design, and preserving what matters most.
I’m Hunter, the artist behind Pine Knot Wood Design. I specialize in flower preservation, transforming wedding bouquets, memorial flowers, and meaningful blooms into one-of-a-kind wood and epoxy heirlooms designed to be cherished for generations.
Growing up in Big Bear Lake, California, I was surrounded by small business, creativity, and design. Both of my parents owned businesses on Pine Knot Avenue for over 30 years, inspiring the name of my business and shaping the values behind it. My mother, Joyce, was an interior designer with a beautiful eye for detail and a deep appreciation for meaningful objects. Her influence continues to inspire every piece I create.
What began as a passion for working with wood and resin has evolved into a calling: helping people preserve some of life’s most meaningful moments. Whether it’s flowers from a wedding day, a memorial service, or another special occasion, I carefully preserve each bloom and transform it into functional artwork that tells a story.
Every piece is handcrafted by me using real flowers, hardwoods, and crystal-clear epoxy, blending natural beauty with refined craftsmanship. My goal is simple: to create timeless heirlooms that honor your memories and allow them to live on in a tangible, beautiful way.
At Pine Knot Wood Design, I believe flowers are more than fleeting—they can become something lasting.
Preserve your memories. Carry their beauty forward.
